POLARI
Brewed to support Stonewall Housing
10p from every pint sold is donated to Stonewall Housing
Polari is a collaborative Pale Ale brewed to support the amazing work of Stonewall Housing, who have been providing housing support, advice and advocacy to the LGBTQI+ community since 1983.
We worked closely with an amazing team of alumni from their programme on every aspect of the beer - from the name, to the artwork and beer style - and continue to collaborate closely with the same talented people as the brand grows and develops.
Since its launch in 2021, Polari has grown to be one of our biggest selling beers thanks to support of a whole range of amazing venues across the UK.
A GREAT BEER FOR A GREAT CAUSE
Brewed with a Pale Malt base, an addition of Amarillo in the boil brings structure and bitterness followed by a seven-day dry hop with Eldorado and Citra for fruity flavours of mango, lime and passionfruit.
Polari is a seriously good beer for a seriously important cause.
SUPPORTING STONEWALL HOUSING
Stonewall Housing was founded 1983. They provide supported accommodation, housing advice, mental health advocacy and domestic abuse support to the LGBTQ+ homeless community.
We donate 10p from every pint of Polari sold to support their vital work.
POLARI? The story behind the name
Polari is a secret language, originally used by people in theatres and fairgrounds and adopted by gay people in the 20th century to skirt the UK’s strict anti-homosexuality laws.
'Polari' (in Polari) means having a chat, so pull up a chair and let's have a pint!
